It’s moreish, creamy, jammy and absolutely delicious. Quiet Rebels Amy includes whisky finished in ex-Maury casks from a small organic vineyard in France who produce a fortified wine that is made in a similar way to port. The 60 year old vines are maintained with a variety of sustainable farming methods including agroforestry which involves integrating frees amongst the vines to improve soil richness. The farm also follows the biodynamic principles such as following the lunar calendar which several studies show is an effective way to determine the best time to plant and harvest crops. These ex-Maury casks have been blended with Nc’nean’s house style STR red wine and ex-Bourbon casks to create Amy’s dream bottling.\u003cbr\u003e-\u003cbr\u003eOur whisky makes a big impression with the smallest footprint. United by a shared love of adventure, they have tackled two of the world’s most iconic long-distance trails: the 2,190-mile Appalachian Trail in the USA and New Zealand’s 1,900-mile Te Araroa, which stretch almost the full lengths of their respective countries. It was Simon and Sarah’s love for all things remote and wild, as well as Nc’nean’s ethos of pioneering sustainable production, that lead them to the Morvern peninsula.
