This Quiet Rebels release has bottler Sarah, at the helm. In true Quiet Rebels style she wanted to create something completely new to Nc'nean - a rich and creamy whisky liqueur, made with our single malt Scotch and organic oats to give that decadent flavour without the need for dairy. It is full and glossy, and is designed for sipping straight from the fridge over plenty of ice.

"I was born in Scotland and grew up in a small village in England, but I’ve always felt most at home when in wild and remote places. Over the years, I’ve followed that instinct, from hiking the Appalachian Trail to walking the length of New Zealand. Eventually, it was the west coast of Scotland and Nc’nean’s way of doing things that made me want to settle here. These days I look after bottling, and outside of work I’m usually in the garden or out in the hills with friends. ABOUT SARAH
Sarah spends her days surrounded by the distinct aroma of single malt Scotch, yet she’s never really been a fan of neat whisky. Cream liqueurs, though are just her thing, so in true Quiet Rebels style, for her turn, she knew it was a velvety, rich and creamy whisky liqueur was exactly what she wanted to make.

The married couple’s journey into whisky was not via the typical route. United by a shared love of adventure, they have tackled two of the world’s most iconic long-distance trails: the 2,190-mile Appalachian Trail in the USA and New Zealand’s 1,900-mile Te Araroa, which stretch almost the full lengths of their respective countries. It was Simon and Sarah’s love for all things remote and wild, as well as Nc’nean’s ethos of pioneering sustainable production, that lead them to the Morvern peninsula. Now settled here, former chef Simon enjoys cooking with fresh ingredients from their garden and Sarah spends her time running up the local hills and wildlife spotting, with both enjoying a good party to balance it all out.
