Distiller
Came to Drimnin from the east. Has taken to distilling like a duck to water. Often found trying to grow things under the stills. The queen of our spirits.
SIMON HEWITT
Distiller
Trained as a chef. Has walked the length of New Zealand and of North America. Picked up some bee-keeping skills along the way. Now turning his hand to distilling.

Visitor Manager & Head of Sustainability
Free spirited Norfolk girl with a passion for all things environmental. Made a beeline to work with us. Likes walking, trying to get lost, and finding her way to a local pub for refuge.
SASHA SMYTH-OSBOURNE
Head of Global Marketing
Farmer’s daughter, big foodie. Based in London but her Scottish ties make her feel at home with us. Idea of a good time includes a hike and a pair of skis.
AMBER MORRISON
Head of Export
Based in London but the Hebrides really has her heart. Enjoys art and dabbles in culture, but really happiest in the heathery hills of the Highlands.
MATT HASTINGS
Brand Ambassador and Blender
Descended from a line of publicans. Loves running, can fly drones, makes awesome videos. Via running one of London’s great whisky bars, is now our brand ambassador and blender.
SARAH HEWITT
Distillery Operator
Lover of wildlife and really good food. After living in a tent for over a year (not her idea) had to settle somewhere wild, so Drimnin (and the Nc’nean ethos) was perfect.
JON FEW
Head of Finance
Spent most his career working for purpose led, consumer focused drinks brands. Enjoys an outdoor adventure on land or sea. Based near the New Forest and loves a country walk involving a pub with a roaring fire.
TORRAN MEALAND
Distillery Operator
Local chap who feels his best when at sea. Loves exploring nearby festivals, a favourite being Tiree in in the Inner Hebrides. Only claim to fame is featuring in an episode of Balamory.
CHRIS MAYBIN
Head of Commercial
About as expert as it gets on all things Scotch. Lover of good food, cocktails, cinema, theatre and music. Found organising local Park Runs on Saturdays.
DOUGLAS TAYLOR
Distiller Operator
Brought up in Lochaline just a few miles down the road. Big lover of the outdoors, especially the alps where he lived for a couple of winter seasons. Has a side hustle making traditional Scottish knives.
BEC CHADWICK
Office Manager
Originally from Sydney, came to the UK for a few months and three years later is still here! Has worked on a winery, loves wild camping and cold water swimming which puts her in good stead living in Drimnin.
ASHLEY HOWKINS
Tour Guide and Bottling Operator
Canadian with strong Scottish roots. A love of animals, enjoys taking her dog Haggis for hill walks and snuggles with her cats Neeps and Tatties. Idea of heaven? A picnic on a wild Scottish beach.

Trade Marketing and Events Executive
A keen bagpipe player who is Edinburgh born and raised. Aside from looking after his two alpacas, his real passion is wine and spirits. So much so that he even wrote part of his dissertation on Nc’nean!

Distillery Operator
Music graduate from Staines. Moved to London in 2012 to work in wine then later for a whisky auction business. As well as music, loves wild camping and hiking and is now learning how to make whisky!
JESS DELANEY
Operations Executive
South African and Irish blood, but with family connections to Drimnin. House plant enthusiast and a big lover of animals, with six cats and two bunnies. Loves cooking, knitting, reading, drawing, and going for a good old yomp.

European Brand Ambassador
Normandy born and raised, now based in Paris. Degree in wine and spirits but of all the drinks out there, whisky has her heart. Metal-head and proper foodie. Big lover of ducks and dogs.

Perthshire born and raised. Big lover of photography, Tunnock's Teacakes and being near water. Life goal is to see a blue whale. Started to enjoy whisky after trying a Whisky Six.
