This indulgent Madeira-finished whisky was created in partnership with Carrie Smith of Hawksmoor Edinburgh, winner of our 2025 Bartender Cocktail Competition. Carrie’s winning serve reimagined the Scottish fable Heather Ale. Growing up in rural Scotland, her deep connection to folklore and storytelling shaped both her cocktail and this whisky - a modern take on old tales, told in her own way.

A proud AuDHD bartender, Carrie draws inspiration from Scottish history, musical theatre, and her two cats, Sylvie and Sweetcorn.

Unpeated in style, the whisky was first filled in a bourbon cask, before being transferred to a Madeira cask in April 2023, adding richness and depth to the finish.
